House Packing & Unpacking Service

The full Packing and Unpacking Service has been completed, from a 21st floor penthouse apartment to a 4 storey house in Cheshire.

During the Packing, a colleague from a corporate filming company Alwaysbeseen.biz filmed the process to create a video to be uploaded onto the website, so you can see what to expect when you take on our house packing services.

Packing Day 1

Supplied all packing materials, dismantled the white nursery furniture, packed the contents of wardrobes, clothes were hung in wardrobe hanging boxes, packed the office, all books packed into smaller boxes, disconnected and packed all electrical equipment in the apartment, and the kitchen (leaving food for the clients last night).  All items were either wrapped in bubble wrap, or for the more fragile items wrapped in export bubble blanket.

Move Day

As clients had their last night in the apartment.  Returned to dismantle the bed, covered the mattress with mattress bag, packed toiletries, and packed any final items which were needed for the last night in the apartment.

Cooler bags were provided for the food in the freezer and fridge.

As the apartment was on the 21st floor, it took 4 hours to load the vehicle with a team of 3 men.  Upon arrival at the new home, the unloading began.

All furniture was placed in the room of the clients choice.  All furniture was rebuilt and placed in the position of the clients choice, then moved to another position when the client wanted the nursery moving into a different position. (pictures of packed nursery furniture in last blog)

The contents of the kitchen boxes were unpacked, with all items placed onto flat surfaces, whilst the customer put the items into the cupboards.  The cooler bag was emptied with food back into the new fridge and freezer.

Clothes were hung up in the walk in closet, and all other boxes unpacked with contents placed on flat surfaces.

Once the boxes were unpacked they were collapsed, all packing paper and bubble wrap folded and placed in a bag to be recycled.

In conclusion, a great service offered to our clients who are too busy to be packing the contents of their home, and who do not want to be surrounded by boxes days after the move.

The packing service and unpacking service are charged by the hour.  The price can only be confirmed once the packing service has been completed.  An estimated cost can be provided prior to your UK House Removal – however, may change on the day of the move, depending on whether you help or not.

A service aimed at our busy professional clients or our expecting mothers.  Moving your UK home as easy as possible – taking away your stress and hassle.
